It’s been a while since I participated in an Illustration Friday challenge so today I thought I’d give it a go.
I much prefer how this looked in pencil.
Before I added colour.
Anyhow, this weeks theme is: Teacher
I may or may not submit this.
And it’s Sunday.
Bye-bye weekend, you’ve been great.

Would love to see the modern take on this pic Kel – teachers no longer fit this stereotype and that aint the apple we get either!! Hee hee
Haha! I know enough of you lovely teachers to know you’re all mostly young and pretty these days, but old and wrinkly is more fun to draw!
xx
Very sweet! I love the pure, old-fashioned-ness of this piece! (Especially the pencil tucked in her bun & the stockings!) I wonder nowadays if kids even have to carry loads of books like I did?? Are they lugging laptops to school instead?
Thank you! I think they’re just carrying iPads these days, aren’t they? And really big lunch boxes because it can’t be books filling those enormous backpacks they have to carry!
Wow…what a lovely illustration….simply love it! Great!
Thank you so much! xx
